Founding Member National College for DUI Defense

The NCDD, Summer Programs at Harvard Law School, was created in 1995. That year, David was the only New Mexico attorney (and one of only 60 nationwide) to be accepted.

Our office is located at 725 Lomas Blvd. NW in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is very conveniently located just three blocks from the intersection of 4th Street and Lomas Blvd. where three new courthouses are located. The United States District Court where federal criminal cases are tried, the Second Judicial District Courthouse where felony criminal cases are tried, and the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court where misdemeanor criminal cases are tried, are all just down the street from our office within a couple of minutes walking distance.

A true courtroom lawyer makes it a point to locate his or her offices very near the courthouses, and Mr. Serna has done just that. When all three of Albuquerque's major courthouses recently relocated to Lomas Blvd., the law offices of David C. Serna quickly moved nearby, too.

Mr. Serna recently purchased and has completed painstaking restoration on his beautiful historic office building sitting on the northeast corner of 8th and Lomas Blvd. NW in Albuquerque. The entire building houses his offices and he does not share space with any other lawyers or law firms. The office boasts a large parking lot, a rarity along Lomas Blvd., with ample free parking reserved exclusively for Mr. Serna's staff and his clients.

Mr. Serna's office is designed to serve as a place of refuge and comfort for his clients embroiled in stressful court proceedings down the street. It offers a shower, kitchen, sitting areas, backyard garden area, and state of the art office equipment.

We strive to make our office a pleasant environment in order to lessen the stress associated with a journey through the criminal justice system.
